Diatomaceous earth or diatomite is a naturally occurring, soft, lightweight, and high porosity siliceous sedimentary rock that can be crumbled into a fine white to an off-white powder containing a high amount of amorphous silica. 20 Microns offers a range of naturally refined as well as a thermally treated diatomite product for varied applications for Food and Beverage we offer eco-friendly Filter-Aid for the production of beer, sweeteners and edible oils,  a cost-effective purifying aids for waste oil filtration.

Also offering a range of effective anti-caking in Fertilizer granules and a well-accepted lightweight carrier for Crop Protection and Pesticide industries. Produce the grades by using selective raw material for use in Cosmetics, as a matting agent in Paints and Coatings and In Plastic film, we offer an effective anti-blocking additive. Oil Spillage and Construction applications are the other application where a range of diatomite we offered.

• Siliceous / Diatomaceous Earth: The most experienced brewers in the world today use Siliceous/ diatomaceous earth filter systems since no other filter system can produce the amazing results of a SE/DE filter. Known for being a “low metals” filter aid, 20 Microns siliceous earth based products for filter aids remove fine particles without affecting the colour or flavour as it is natural, adaptable, and flexible. The lower permeability grades form filter cakes, having small pores which produce a high degree of clarification. The higher permeability grades have larger pores and provide increased throughput with slightly reduced clarity. 20 Microns also has natural siliceous earth grades which are low crystalline-silica, low permeability products, used primarily as filter aids in filtration. These natural products are off-white in color and have a reasonable permeability range.
