About Graphite

The Grafitec™ Series is 20 Microns' flagship range of graphite and advanced carbon materials, built for high-performance industrial and next-generation applications. The portfolio covers natural flake, synthetic, micronised, expandable and high purity graphite, along with graphene-based materials. Graphite's layered crystalline structure gives it excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, high-temperature stability and natural lubricity, which makes it effective as a conductive additive, lubricant, refractory raw material and flame retardant.

Produced through advanced processing, precision milling and strict quality control, Grafitec graphite delivers consistent purity, controlled particle size and reliable performance. It serves industries ranging from batteries and electronics to refractories, foundries, polymers and fire protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Important information about Graphite, grades and applications.

Natural graphite is mined and comes in flake, amorphous, and vein forms. Synthetic graphite is manufactured from petroleum coke at high temperatures.

Graphite is the primary anode material in lithium-ion batteries, storing lithium ions during charging. It's critical for EVs and portable electronics.

We offer graphite with carbon content from 85% (industrial) to 99.9% (battery grade), with various particle sizes and morphologies.

No, graphite has a crystalline layered structure while carbon black is amorphous. They have different properties and applications.
